The uses for these straining classifiers to the treasure hunter and prospector is limited only by your imagination! The designed purpose was to screen out waste gravel before you pan out the material for smaller gold. But, in the antique bottle digging hobby we sift the privy dirt for coins marbles and relics.
        If you are a relic hunter you can sift a Civil War trench or camp site for small relics and carved bullets!
        For shallow water hunters, you can place the sieve inside a garden tractor inner tube and float it! Then, dump the material out of your scoop, and it will catch the coins and jewelry!
